Miss Melanie Gohn

Melanie Gohn has been an educator of young children for 23 years. She is in her tenth year of teaching at Fabra Elementary School. Prior to Fabra, she taught first through fourth grades in San Antonio and North Texas area as well as in Everett, Washington. Miss Gohn graduated from Texas State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also graduated from The University of Washington-Bothell with her Masters of Education degree and National Board Certification in Early/Middle Child Literacy. Teaching is her passion and she looks forward to working with all of the families here at Fabra. In her spare time, Miss Gohn enjoys spending time with her family both in Texas and Colorado. In the summer, she works as a Program Director for Kickapoo Kamp in Kerrville, TX. She also loves to travel, shop, do outdoor yoga, and adores her cat, Stella Luna Oreo!
