Mrs. Mitchell

Leigh-Ann Mitchell is a 6th grade science teacher at Capt. Mark Tyler Voss Middle School. This will be Mrs. Mitchell's 4th year at VOSS and 20th year teaching. She has previously worked as a science teacher in both NJ and New York City.

Mrs. Mitchell graduated from the University of Massachusetts with degrees in Biology and Psychology. She later went on to earn her Master's degree in Education from The American International College.

Mrs. Mitchell has been married for 18 years and has two daughters, ages 9 and 12. She enjoys time with friends, swimming, gardening and playing with her girls.
