Alicia Perkins

Mrs. Perkins is in her 21st year of being a music educator. Before opening Voss MS, she taught 10 years in Northside ISD. Prior to her service in NISD, Mrs. Perkins was the Assistant Band Director at BMSN. She is excited to be back in Boerne and teaching the students of Voss MS. 

Mrs. Perkins, a native of Houston, graduated from Texas Tech University in 1998 with a Bachelor's of Music Composition and received her All-Level K-12 Instrumental Teaching Certification in 2000. While at Tech, Mrs. Perkins was a clarinet player in numorous ensebles and was also a member of the Goin' Band Colorguard. Mrs. Perkins was also a member of the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps Colorguard.

Mrs. Perkins is married to Wesley Perkins who she met at Texas Tech. They have been married for 21 years and have two children. William is 9 and Caroline is 11.  In her spare time, Mrs. Perkins enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering for the Red Raiders and the Spurs.
