Mrs. Elaine Mencio

Hello Mustangs,

I am so excited to be a part of the Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary Family.  This is my third year in Boerne ISD and I am thrilled to have this opportunity.  I will be working with several grade levels this year as an inclusion/resource teacher. My role is to support teachers and students in the classroom throughout the school day.  I love my role because of how many students and teachers I get to work with daily! 

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA and a Master’s of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technology from Houston Baptist University.  Throughout my 22 year career I have taught grades first through third and as a specialist (Campus Instructional Technologist). This will be my third year in special education and I am so excited for the challenges it will bring. I'm also excited because I will also be supporting our campus as the special education team leader. I believe that all students can learn and will do whatever it takes to help them succeed.
