Ms. Vela believes that learning should be a lifelong quest instilled in every child and sparked by curiosity. She believes that books are more than paper in the hands of those brave enough to open them, but rather they are opportunities to experience an unknown journey. As an avid reader. Ms. Vela believes that books are the pathway to new adventures. She enjoys lighting the way for students to find books that ignite their interest in reading; she believes that everyone has a book waiting to be discovered.
