Ms. Michelle L. Hastings

Michelle has been teaching Social Studies since 1995 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Political Science.  She received a Masters in Economics from George Mason University in May 2022.  Over the years, she has taught government, economics, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Human Geography, and Student Leadership.  This school year she will be teaching AP/Dual Credit Macroeconomics, AP/Dual Credit Microeconomics and Economics.

In her free time she enjoys her new chocolate lab, George, the outdoors, yoga, swimming, and traveling.  Michelle has a daughter who is a graduate of UC San Diego and lives in Santa Barbara.
