Mrs. Brooke Slaughter

Mrs. Brooke Slaughter is a second grade teacher and is very excited to start the year!  She grew up in Dublin, Ohio and after graduating high school, attended Bluffton College where she studied Early Childhood Education.  Mrs. Slaughter taught in Ohio for 13 years with experience in fourth, third and second grade and received her Master’s degree at Ashland University in reading before moving to Texas.  She is incredibly excited about starting her third as a second grade teacher here at Van Raub.

Mrs. Slaughter has been married for 16 years to her husband Josh.  She has two children Andre and Kenley who attend Boerne Middle School South.  Mrs. Slaughter enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, watching college football, and attending Andre and Kenley's sporting events.  She looks forward to the upcoming year!
