Mr. Michael Fain

Michael Fain is excited to begin his second year at Boerne High School the choir director! For Mr. Fain, choir is a safe space where all students are welcome as they are. Any level of musical ability is accepted and built upon. If you enjoy singing or want to learn how to sing, choir is the place for you! Originally from Portland, Oregon, Mr. Fain moved to San Antonio, where he received his BM in Choral Music Education and his MA in Teaching from Trinity University. Mr. Fain student taught at Bulverde Creek ES and Bradley MS in NEISD, as well as Alamo Heights HS in AHISD. He is the faculty sponsor for the D&D Club and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. He is looking forward to being an assistant coach for Boerne HS's inaugural E-Sports Team! Outside of school, Mr. Fain is a staff singer at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Temple Beth-El in San Antonio. He also sings with the San Antonio Choral Society and a Barbershop Quartet. He looks forward to sharing his passion for choral music and music education with his students this year!
