Mrs. Emily Henckel

Emily Henckel grew up in the small town of Rockport, Texas. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2013 from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Go Islanders! She spent her first 7 years teaching kindergarten and first grade in Corpus Christi. She moved to Boerne in 2020, where she began teaching at Van Raub Elementary. This will be her 11th year of teaching and she is excited to continue teaching kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year!

Emily lives in Boerne with her husband, Chase, and their baby girl, Carson!

Emily is looking forward to meeting her kindergarteners and excited for a wonderful school year building relationships and a love for learning! :)
