Mrs. Maegan Owen

The 2023-2024 school year will be the seventh (7th) year in the classroom for Mrs. Owen and her third (3rd) at Boerne Middle School South. A native of southeast Texas, Mrs. Owen attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas (Wreck 'Em Tech!) with a double major in Interdisciplinary Agriculture and History along with minors in Animal Science and Secondary Education. Following graduation Mrs. Owen served as an 8-12 Agricultural Sciences & Technology teacher.

After a brief sabbatical from teaching in order to grow her family, Mrs. Owen is excited to be returning to the classroom for the 2023-2024 school year. 

In her free time, Mrs. Owen loves to spend time with her husband Trey and their kids: Emmalee - 16, Easten - 6, Emmett - 4 and Emersen - 2.
