Miss Carah Bowen

Carah Bowen graduated with her B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies with a teaching certification from Schreiner University in May of 2021.

Miss Bowen grew up in Boerne, Texas and went to school here from Kindergarten through 12th grade at Curington Elementary, Boerne Middle School North, and graduated from Boerne High School in 2017. It has been her lifelong dream to return to her home school district and become an educator to give back to a community that gave her so much. Miss Bowen's love for children began early on through volunteering in classrooms and teaching dance. She developed a passion for dance education and working with young dancers to teach them the importance of working as a team and always striving to be better. Eventually, this passion developed into the desire to educate in the academic field. Miss Bowen strives to create a classroom environment where students feel important and validated and believes all students are capable of great things with encouragement. She is eager to establish positive relationships with her students and watch them grow throughout the year.

Outside of school, you will find Miss Bowen spending time with her family, friends, and with her playful and energetic puppy, Maverick. Miss Bowen also enjoys reading, baking, and cooking.
