Mrs. Lesley Olvera

Lesley Olvera grew up in Spring, Texas and later attended Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. At the beginning of her career, she taught in Houston ISD and Katy ISD. In 2010, Mrs. Olvera and her husband relocated to San Antonio, and she spent 12 years teaching in Northside ISD. Throughout her career, Mrs. Olvera has taught Reading, English, and ELAR as well as coached cross country, track, and soccer. This school year will mark her 21st year in education. She has a passion for teaching middle school, and she is so excited to be part of the Voss community for a second year.

When Mrs. Olvera is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ruben, their two children, Olivia and Sammy, and their black labs, Ruthie and Evie. She also loves reading and spending time outdoors.
