Our Mission Statement:

The mission of the Boerne Independent School District Social Studies Program is to connect the past, present, and future in a way that students understand the impact of these events in the shaping of one's life. Through a progression of study, Kindergarten through twelfth grade, students will demonstrate an understanding of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) including geography, history, economics, government, cultures, and citizenship. In so doing students will be able to achieve mastery of the exit level test and become responsible and productive citizens.
