NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY (NHS)

The National Honor Society was founded with the purpose of recognizing and encouraging academic achievement. The purpose of the organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in individuals.

Here at Boerne, you can be eligible to join the National Honor Society if you maintain a GPA of 92 or higher. (Updated for the new GPA system.)  We send out the invitations starting the fall of the students junior year.  If you have any questions or concerms, please contact Mr. Seaman. 

Induction Date: November 6th

National Honor Society Meeting Dates for 2023-2024 school year (all start at 8:05 am, most at BHS Auditorium).

August 22nd

September 12th

October 10th

November 14th

December 6th, hours will be due (in Mr. Seaman's room)

February 13th

March 5th 

April 16th (Hours will be due)

May 7th, Senior pick-up stoles (in Mr. Seaman's rooom)
