Mrs. Chrissie Tinder

Mrs. Tinder is excited to be teaching 4th grade Math and Science this year, and teaming with Mrs. Moore (Reading and Language Arts).

Mrs. Tinder has taught in BISD since 2001. Before that, she taught preschool, Kindergarten, first, and second grades at other schools in Texas, North Dakota, and Arizona, and spent a year as an academic counselor for a homeschool curriculum company. She began her teaching career in 1988 as a graduate of Angelo State University. 

As a child, she couldn't wait to get home to teach her three younger siblings what she'd learned in school that day. An avid gardener and DIY crafter, she loves constantly learning new things. Mrs. Tinder's greatest joy is helping students build skills essential to pursuing their own interests, projects, and goals.
