Mrs. Nora Pedraza

Mrs. Pedraza has been teaching at Boerne ISD for seven years.  This includes teaching at both Boerne Middle School North and Boerne Middle School South.  Being a middle school foreign language teacher has been a very fulfilling and exciting addition to her career. She currently serves as a Site Based Committee member.

Prior to teaching in Boerne, Mrs. Pedraza spent 24 years teaching in the Rio Grande Valley.  Her first seven years were spent teaching elementary in the border town of Progreso, Texas.  She then spent the next 17 years teaching in the tri-city school district of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (PSJA) where she taught elementary using several different models of bilingual education including Dual Language.  

Mrs. Pedraza is married to Rolando and they are the proud parents of two adult daughters, Briana and Sarah both graduates of UT-Austin.  She loves to spend her weekends driving around and discovering all the hidden gems that the beautiful Hill Country has to offer.
