Mrs. Nelda Zuniga

 Mrs. Zuniga graduated from Med-High in Mercedes, Texas and went on to graduate from the University of Texas-Pan American with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  She spent 10 years teaching 1^st grade in both the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio.  In 2015, Mrs. Zuniga pursued her goal of being a school counselor and graduated from the University of Texas-San Antonio with her Masters in School Counseling. 

Mrs. Zuniga enjoys helping children and using different methods to engage in conversation with children.  She is currently pursuing her certification to be a play therapist. 

Mrs. Zuniga is married to her husband, Art.  They have 2 children, Olivia and Noah.  She also has a fur-family member, a dog named Lucy.
