Degrees and Certifications:
Parents and Students Grade 2nd – 5th,
Fabra’s Environmental Club raises awareness of environmental concerns and encourages students to take an active role as stewards of their local environment. Members learn they can make a difference! Our club helps to create an awareness of opportunities everyone has for protecting our Earth.
Our club is called 'POWER'.
It is an acronym for Protect Our World's Environmental Resources.
We meet on Monday’s, after school in the 2nd grade common area from 3:00-4:00. We will meet one Monday a month.
We will continue to assist and educate our campus in various ways.
We will brainstorm ideas, and then implement the ideas our 'Green Team' decides upon for projects, such as recycling on our campus, keeping our campus clean, and share ideas about how to reduce our carbon footprint on KFES.
If you would like to be on this team, and you are a student in good standing at Fabra, please fill out the back and return to me. Please read the characteristics I desire our members to have, and if you feel this describes you, complete the form. You will need to answer the questions, ask your parent or guardian to fill out their section, and ask a teacher to verify you are a student in good standing at Fabra. If you are a parent wanting to offer your assistance, please send your contact information and how you would like to be involved via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the back and return to me at school.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your interest!
