REMIND TEXT APP
PARENTS: Have you joined our class Remind Text?
Remind is a texting/communication app that allows teachers and parents to stay connected without sharing any personal information. Teachers can communicate with parents through the Remind app about class announcements, updates, due dates, and assignments. Parents can communicate with teachers through the app as well. It is a great and convenient tool for communication that allows for quick replies and open lines of communication!
Please see the course syllabus on information for how to join! NOTE: There are different Remind text groups for Honors and On-Level Texas History and a different group that is for Discovering Languages and Cultures.
Google Sites Digital Notebook
We are ALL digital!
In an effort to streamline our classes, the social studies department will have digital interactive notebooks through Google Sites! A tutorial video is posted in Google Classroom and students also were taught step-by-step on how to build and update their digital notebook in class. Students are expected to update their digital notebook with completed assignments from their Google Drive. What a great way to help student develop digital note-taking skills, collaboration, and creativity!
