Mrs. Janna Clements

    Mrs. Clements is entering into her 7th year of teaching. She began her teaching career in Bryan ISD after graduating from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Philosophy. She is currently working toward her Master's in Professional School Counseling from Lamar University and is expected to graduate in August of 2023!

    She and her husband, Tyler, are both educators and are originally from San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Clements was awarded Rookie Teacher of the Year for her campus during the 2016-2017 school year and was also highlighted as a Teacher Spotlight May 2018 Winner for Boerne Middle School South. Mrs. Clements was awarded the Voss Middle School Teacher of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year, honored by being named the 2020 Boerne ISD Teacher of the Year, and was recognized as Boerne ISD Kens5 Excel Award Winner of 2020-2021!

     In addition, Mrs. Clements serves our school as Campus Webmaster and the AVID Coordinator. She is also our counseling intern as she completes her Master's! Mrs. Clements loves getting to teach leadership skills and social-emotional strategies to instill confidence in her students. She is a 21st century educator who incorporates technology into her instruction in order to give her students the opportunity to discover their own learning in relevant and effective ways. 

     When she is not teaching in the classroom, Mrs. Clements enjoys cheering on her students at their extracurricular events, such as sport games, concerts, and plays. She also works within the community with Boerne YoungLife! She finds great joy in getting to support, teach, and impact young people and feels blessed to be a teacher in such an amazing community as Boerne, Texas!
