Degrees and Certifications:
Sarah Womble holds a Masters Degree in Education from The University of Houston - Victoria and a Bachelors Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Sam Houston State University. She has been in education since 1999.
The first 13 years of her career were spent working as an Extension Educator for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. She served in the role of County Extension Agent in Wharton and Victoria County and in a 4-H Specialist role, serving over twenty counties her last year working for the Extension Service. Mrs. Womble worked primarily in the areas of 4-H and Youth Development, Volunteer Management, Food and Nutrition, Diabetes Education, Passenger Safety and Financial Literacy. She served in many leadership roles, including County Coordinator in Victoria County and 4-H & Youth Development Coordinator in Wharton County.
Mrs. Womble became a public school educator in 2013. Mrs. Womble has taught Culinary Arts, Child Development, Dollars and Sense, Teen Parenting, Food Science, Lifetime Nutrition and Principles of Human Services and Hospitality. She currently serves as the Career Technology Education Department Chair at CHS.
