Mrs. Rebecca Madrid

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Rebecca Madrid

Mrs. Madrid has been working in the Boerne Independent School District for seven years, both as an instructional assistant in behavior and Life Skills units and, currently, as a Special Education Science teacher.  She is also the Special Education Department Chair.  Mrs. Madrid has been a Fish Camp Coordinator since 2013 and has worked with the BISD Summer Science program.

Mrs. Madrid's primary role as a science co-teacher is to ensure that the curriculum is being delivered to all students in a matter that best suits their learning styles and strengths.  She provides instruction that supports and supplements the instruction of the general education teacher, through methods such as team teaching, station teaching, and parallel teaching.

When she isn't teaching, Mrs. Madrid is enjoying her time with her family.  She has two little boys at Cibolo Creek Elementary who keep her plenty busy.  If she isn't in the classroom, Mrs. Madrid is outside kayking, cycling, hiking, or camping.
