Mrs. Hanna Walker
Mrs. Walker is a clarinet player and the assistant band director at Boerne Middle School North. Mrs. Walker is a Dallas native, attended Sachse High School, served as a drum major for two years and then attended Texas State University in San Marcos where she performed across the country with the university's marching band and top concert ensemble. During her time in college, Mrs. Walker taught private lessons throughout the Austin area, worked as a marching band tech at Georgetown High School, and often sought out additional observational and teaching opportunities.
After college, Mrs. Walker moved back to Dallas to work as an assistant band director at North Mesquite High School. During her time there, the marching band was the sole runner up to the state marching band contest and her ensembles were awarded sweepstakes for the first time in the school's history. After two years in Mesquite, Hanna moved to San Antonio, Texas to be with her now husband. She worked for two years as the assistant band director at Madison High School and was again awarded superior and excellent division ratings with her ensemble.
Mrs. Walker resides in New Braunfels with her husband, Jett Walker, who is currently earning his master's degree at Texas State University in trombone performance. The couple has a rescue dog and a cat. In her spare time, Mrs. Walker enjoys working out, cooking and baking, good coffee, and spending time with her family.
