Mr. Aaron Steffek

Coach Steffek is excited to be returning to Voss for year 4 and marking his 5th year in Boerne ISD.  This year his teaching field is 7th Grade Honors Math in addition to his coaching responsibilities for boys’ sports. Coach Steffek grew up in the small Texas town of Granger, population 1200 plus or minus. It is there where he learned the value of hard work and putting others first. After graduating from Granger High School, he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University.  He later completed his Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletics Administration from Concordia University Irvine. Coach Steffek is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  He enjoys researching new ways to develop the athletic ability in his athletes. Outside of school Coach Steffek enjoys woodworking, camping, hiking, resistance training, and spending time with his wife, Emily, and two children, Gavyn and Seren.
