Mrs. Rust is beginning her 21st year of teaching Kindergarten.  She taught at Curington Elementary for 4 years and moved to Cibolo Creek Elementary in 2006 when it opened.  Mrs. Rust graduated from Texas Tech University with her Bachelors Degree in Human development.  She then went on to  graduate from Schreiner University with her Master’s of Education in Teaching.

Mrs. Rust absolutely loves teaching Kindergarten!  It is such a rewarding job and she loves getting to watch her students grow physically, emotionally, socially and academically, throughout the year.  There is nothing quite like getting to be a part of watching these little kiddos come in at the beginning of a new year a little nervous, knowing a few letters and sounds and then leaving as confident little readers, writers and math mathematicians!

Mrs. Rust married her husband, Russell, in 2017.  Together they have two children.  Anna will be in 8th grade at Voss Middle School and Rayden will be a 6th grader at Voss as well.  They enjoy spending time together at the lake, at the ranch and watching some Red Raider football.
