Ms. Venissa Rodriguez

To inform, inspire, and to ignite is Venissa Rodriguez's goal as she explores the realm of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with high school students. Ms. Rodriguez earned a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Advanced Instructor from Angelo State University (2018), a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (2016), and an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Information Technology/Web Design (2014) from University of Phoenix. This is Ms. Rodriguez's third year teaching STEM.  Previously, Ms. Rodriguez worked for Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) for over 28 years where she had the opportunity to work in the Space Science and Engineering Department. While at SwRI Ms. Rodriguez had the pleasure of working with some of the finest scientist and engineers and witnessed the real world application of STEM in the workplace.  Her desire to share these experiences and apply real world application into the classroom is why Ms. Rodriguez changed careers and is now happily teaching.
