Mrs. Sarah Kazenas is ecstatic to begin her 3rd year of music teaching at Curington Elementary. She has a background in band and played trumpet in high school and college. After graduating college from the University of Texas at San Antonio, she taught 5th grade and discovered her love of teaching elementary students. Shortly after that, she decided to pursue elementary music. Helping kids fall in love with music is her passion, and she looks forward to a long career in education. Mrs. Kazenas also has some Kodály training and she absolutely loves it. She's excited to learn more about Kodály and other methods of teaching elementary music. Mrs. Kazenas is excited to begin the year and can't wait to meet her new Curington Cougars!
