Mr. Richard Wiggins

Mr. Wiggins has been a teacher is Boerne ISD for a total of 18 years. He has been a middle school teacher for 16 years.

He has been a resource teacher, inclusion teacher and Special Education Department Chair.

Mr. Wiggins currently Teaches Distance Learning in 6th Grade  World Cultures and 7th Grade Texas History.

In addition to teaching Mr. Wiggins has served as a sponsor of various school organizations, served on the BISD Salary Budget Committee. He has also served as a four-term Alderman in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. He is a past state president of the Association of Texas Professional Educators (2015). He has served on TEA State Advisory Sub-Committe for Development T-Tess in 2014.

 Mr. Wiggins is from Beaumont, Texas where he graduated from Lamar university with a BA (History) MBA (General Business). 

After a successfull 25 year career as a financial consultant, Mr. Wiggins retired to persue his desire to teach in Boerne ISD. Mr. Wiggins has had a passion for teaching and learning his entire life. He hopes to teach each of his students as if the were his own childrem. The atmosphere at Boerne makes every staff member and student at BMSN proud to part of this family.

He and wife Pamela, have two children, Kathryn L. (Wiggins) Brock and Sarah Elizabeth (Wiggins) Scheiwe, both graduates of Boerne ISD. They have three grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, reading and being a statistician for Spurs Basketball and UTSA Roadrunner Football.
