Mrs. Ana Tanari
Ana Tanari is starting her first year at Kendall Elementary and will be teaching dual language. She began her teaching careeer 6 years ago at NorthEast ISD where she taught second grade dual language. Ana also taught at Northside for 1 year as a fifth grade dual language teacher. After her last year at Northside Ana decided to take a short break from teaching to become a full time mom to her three children. When Ana decided to get back to the classroom she felt that Boerne ISD would be the best place for her and her family. She was so excited at the prospect of being able to teach at a smaller district where you are actually considered family. Ana was so greatful for the opportunity to start teaching at Kendall Elementary again as a dual language teacher . Her 3 year old twins will aslo be joining her at Kendall's ECC program.
Ana compelted her education at Saint Mary's Univeristy where she majored in International Relations. Afer a couple of years in banking, Ana decided to change careers and follow her true vocation in teaching. Ana is truly passionate about bilingual education because she too was a product of the bilingual classroom. She spend part of her childhood in Mexico where she studied at a bilingual school and later continued her bilingual education when she moved to Texas. Everyone in Ana's family is bilingual and they love to travel and experience new cultures and languages. Ana is excited for the new school year and is looking forward to meeting her students in the upcoming week.
