Debbie McQueen is a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary where she has taught for the past 12 years. She graduated from Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with Early Childhood and Reading specializations. During her 36-year career, Debbie has taught Pre-K, First, Second and Third grades. After teaching general education for 15 years, Debbie pursued a certification in Special Education which is truly her passion. One way she brings this passion to life by sharing joy with others through her four certified Goldendoodle Therapy dogs. The faculty and students at FORES, as well as, personal care facilities and hospitals enjoy visits from Debbie’s “fur friends”.
Debbie and her husband, Doug have been married for 38 years. Her husband is a hospice chaplain and worship leader at their church. They enjoy spending time with their family, son Randall and his wife Liz, daughter Natalie and her husband Brandon and their three precious grandchildren, Morgan-11, Micah-9 and Reese-4. Family is very important to Debbie… being Grammy is the best!
