Mrs. Katie Miller
Katie Miller is beginning her seventh year in education, and her second at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary and Boerne ISD. She has previously taught 1st, 2nd, and 6th grade in Fredericksburg ISD. This year she will be teaching 4th grade Math and Science on a team with Mrs. Jackson. Mrs. Miller graduated from Schreiner University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 and also holds a Masters Degree in Education with Principal Certification. She holds certifications in GT, English as a Second Language, and Special Education. In addition to be being a 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Miller also serves as a Campus Co-Director for BOA, Student Council Sponsor, and is the 4th grade Team Leader.
Mrs. Miller is married to her husband, Hunter, who is also a teacher. He is currently the Challenge Lab Teacher at Tally Elementary in Kerrville ISD. He actually attended FORES as a student and was a Boerne ISD graduate. When they are not at school, the Millers enjoy watch college football, spending time with family, and spoiling their 3 year old dog, Maya.
Mrs. Miller believes that every child can reach their highest potential with encouragement and support. She strives to build a positive classroom community with collaboration, innovation, and fun! She is looking forward to an amazing year in 4th grade!
