Mrs. Katie Miller
Mrs. Miller has a passion for her career and is beginning her fifth year in education, but her first year at FORES. She has previously taught 1st, 2nd, and 6th grade. This year she will be teaching 4th grade Math on a team with Mrs. Newton and Ms. Spyers-Duran. Mrs. Miller graduated from Schreiner University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 and also holds a Masters Degree in Education with Principal Certification. She holds certifications in GT, English as a Second Language, and Special Education.
Mrs. Miller is married to her husband, Hunter, who is also a teacher. He is currently the Challenge Lab Teacher at Tally Elementary in Kerrville ISD. He actually attended FORES as a student and was a Boerne ISD graduate. When they are not at school, the Millers enjoy going to Texas A&M Football games, spending time with family, and spoiling their almost 3 year old dog, Maya.
Mrs. Miller believes that every child can reach their highest potential with encouragement and support. She strives to build a positive classroom community with collaboration, innovation, and fun! She is looking forward to an amazing year in 4th grade!
