Ms. Rachel Ulmer
Ms. Rachel Ulmer is a 5th Grade Special Education Teacher. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in 2007 and from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Master of Arts in 2012. Her concentration of studies is in special education and curriculum and instruction. She is beginning her twelfth-year as a special education teacher. She taught ten years in NEISD and is beginning her second-year in BISD at Curington Elementary.
Ms. Ulmer moved to Boerne in 2017 with her two children, Julianna and Jackson. Both of her children are Curington Cougars. She was born and raised in San Antonio and resided there until she moved to Boerne.
Ms. Ulmer has known since high school that she wanted to become an educator and work with children with special needs. Her passion was ignited in high school, when she began volunteering in the life skills classroom. Her purpose for teaching is to find strengths in all children and help inspire all children to reach their full potential.
