Dr. Sara Ranzau

Dr. Sara Ranzau is looking forward to the 2020 - 2021 school year and is ready for the many challenges it will present. She is especially excited to continue to serve as a member of the ELAR department, webmaster, and social media contact for Captain Mark T. Voss Middle School.

Dr. Ranzau is also involved in advocating for the literacy of Texas youth with TALE (Texas Association for Literacy Education), is an adjunct professor at Schreiner University, the mother of two sons (both who will be at Voss this school year), a caver, a world traveler, as well as an avid reader.

One of Dr. Ranzau's greatest joys in the classroom is sharing books with her students and seeing them fall in love (or deeper in love) with the words of great authors and the stories they create. She seeks to find the right book for each student so they can discover other worlds.

Dr. Ranzau looks forward to working with you and your student this coming school year!
