Mr. Hector Infante

Mr. Hector Infante is currently in his 4th year of teaching orchestra and his 4th year at Boerne ISD. Prior to educating, he attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he studied Music Education and performed with the UTSA Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Infante's primary instrument is the cello, but he loves to perform on the viola as well. He is thrilled to be your orchestra director at Voss Middle School! Part of the reason Mr. Infante became a teacher was because of his teachers from middle and high school who instilled in him what it was to not only be a great musician but a great human as well, and that changed his life. He wants to give the same back to his own students and hopefully inspire them to become the best students they can be! Mr. Infante is excited about the school year because the VMS Orchestra has great music planned and so many great events, trips and adventures that he cannot wait to share with you all. His personal favorite is the yearly 6th grade movie night!
