Ms. Amanda Asher

Ms. Asher has been in education with Boerne ISD since 2017. She began her career at Cibolo Creek Elementary School working as the P.E. assistant for 2 years. She was excited about becoming a classroom teacher in 2020, where she served CCES as a first grade teacher for 2 years, followed by 2 years as a second grade teacher. Her experince in the classroom and as a P.E. assistant inspired her to pursue her certification as a Physical Education Teacher. She is thrilled with her new role as the lead P.E. teacher at Cibolo Creek Elementary School.

Ms. Asher graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Colorado Chrisitan University and attained her teaching certification in 2020. She earned recognition as CCES Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year. 

Ms. Asher enjoys spending time with her 3 teenage children, Peyton, Ryssa, and Brooke. Together, they spend time backpacking, taking road trips, running and all things outdoors. In her spare time, Ms. Asher can be found running endless miles as she is always training for her next ultra marathon.  Ms. Asher loves to live her life as an example to inspire others to push through and endure hard things.
