Simone Bergmann

Guten Tag und Herzlich Willkommen!

Simone Bergmann was born in Mainz, Germany. She graduated with a Master's degree in Education and English from the University of Landau, Germany. After teaching 4 years at an Elementary school in Germany, she moved to Bandera, Texas, inspired by the beauty of the Hill Country.

She loves the outdoors and resides close to Bandera on a small farm with her daughter and some four-legged family members.  Since she arrived in Texas in 2002, she taught 2nd grade and World language classes at SW ISD and elementary education at Bandera ISD until 2013.

She currently teaches levels 1 through 4 AP including honors of German at Samuel V. Champion HS and German level 1 honors at BMSS as well as VMS. Frau Bergmann loves sharing her language and her culture with her students, their families and the community. She also coordinates exchange trips to Germany.
