Mrs. Amanda Klaerner
About Me Mrs. Klaerner is beginning her 16th year as an educator. She is ecstatic to be a new member of the Special Education/Inclusion team for 6th - 8th English and Reading at BMSN! She attended and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1999 with a degree in Elementary Education and will be entering her 15th year of teaching. Mrs. Klaerner has taught a variety of grade levels from elementary to high school, but middle school is definitely where her passion lies and where she has spent the majority of her teaching career. In addition to teaching, she has sponsored and coached a variety of school activities.
Mrs. Klaerner and her family moved to Boerne in 2007 when her husband, Kevin, accepted a position as Deputy with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and has since served as an SRO in Comfort ISD and now Community Resource Sergeant. Their oldest son, Braden, will be a Sophomore at BHS, and their youngest son, Logan, will be entering the 4th grade at Fabra Elementary. She enjoys spending time with family, taking long scenic drives, camping, and reading.
