Ms. Deffenbaugh is starting her second year as a Mighty FORES Mustang! She has a range of educational experiences from her years as a classroom teacher, technology coordinator, teaching assistant, tutor, and afterschool enrichment educator. Ms. Deffenbaugh graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies-Concentrations in Education and Brain Behavioral Sciences. While in college, one of her favorite jobs was a Mad Scientist with Mad Science of Dallas! She graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from St. Mary’s University with a MA in Catholic School Leadership. 

Ms. Deffenbaugh grew up in San Antonio and moved to Boerne in 2016. She has 3 children and two dogs. In her free time, Ms. Deffenbaugh enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, gardening, traveling, and attending all the amazing events the Boerne community offers.

Ms. Frizzle has always been a great inspiration for her educational adventures. Just as The Frizz said,"Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!"
