Mrs. Kacy Bowe

Mrs. Kacy Bowe is beginning her fourteenth year in education, and her sixth year in Boerne ISD. She is excited to get to know her new students and their families, and is looking forward to another year in 1st grade!   Mrs. Bowe has previously taught Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade and held a Math Coaching position. She has traveled often and taught in Texas, Arizona, and Germany for DoDEA due to an exciting military lifestyle. Mrs. Bowe graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Elementary Education.  She also holds certifications in Early Childhood through 6^th grade, GT, and English as a Second Language. Mrs. Bowe proudly served her country for 7 years in the Army National Guard and deployed to Afghanistan in 2002. 

Mrs. Bowe is married to her husband, Nicholas, who served 24 years in the United States Army and is now retired and working in other aspects for the government. Mrs. Bowe has two children, Brenden and Lexi, who both love Boerne ISD and have made great friends here. The Bowe family loves to travel, make memories and spend as much time together as possible, because time is a gift.

Mrs. Bowe believes in fostering a positive and intellectually motivating environment which empowers students to realize their individual potentials. She is looking forward to another amazing year at Van Raub and being your child's 1st grade teacher!
