Mrs. Alison Bell

Alison Bell is currently a second-grade teacher at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary.  This is her twentieth year of teaching and she has enjoyed being a member of the Fair Oaks staff for the last eleven years.  During her career, Alison has taught Challenge Lab, First, Second and Fourth grade.  She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and got her teaching certificate from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

This school year will be very exciting and productive.  She has very high expectations for her students and for herself.  It is her job to help every one of her students experience success.  It is her responsibility not only to teach her students the academic standards of second grade, but it is also to build responsibility, respect, good habits and high self-esteem.  She will treat her students with kindness and respect so that they will know how to treat others.  She will give them opportunities to solve problems for themselves and opportunities to make good choices.  She truly believes that she is not only teaching a second grader, but she is also teaching a future young adult.

Alison’s family moved to Boerne twelve years ago.  She is married to David and has three daughters.  Kate works at Bill Miller.  Sydney is a junior at Texas A&M University and Audrey is in twelfth grade at Boerne High School.
