As the new Assistant Principal of Capt. Mark T. Voss Middle School, it is my pleasure and honor to become a member of this great school and community. The collegial partnerships between the school faculty and staff, students, parents and community stakeholders in Boerne ISD provide a diversity of experiences for the students.  I am truly honored to join the Voss Middle School family.  I look forward to working with you to provide the best possible education to our students.

A little about me. I am a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio. Shortly after graduation, I joined the United States Navy as an Operation Specialist and was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon completing my enlistment, I attended and graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with an accounting degree but transitioned quickly into education. Continuing my education, I earned a Master’s Degree in K-12 Science Education from Walden University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University.  This will be my 17th year in education, with 11 of those years spent as a math and science teacher at the middle school level.  The last five years have been spent as an Assistant Principal at Pleasanton High School in Pleasanton, Texas.

Voss AP and Principal In my free time, you can find me gardening for fruits and vegetables, reading both professionally and for fun (mystery), traveling and spending time with my family.  My husband and I have been married for 27 years and are parents to two wonderful boys aged 26 and 21 who are our pride and joy.

This year is going to be amazing!  So many new things, faces, and experiences for everyone. I look forward to meeting and working with each of you and building the legacy that will become Voss Middle School, a special place where our students will learn and grow.  I am excited at the possibilities.

We welcome Ms. Grose to the Boerne ISD Family and we look forward to August with all of the excitement to come at the new campus.
