As part of the Strategic Planning process, the Boerne Independent School District held their kick-off for their Action Teams Tuesday, October 9.
Strategic Planning is a focused, purposeful way to direct the district's future and the process creates a unity of purpose throughout the district while increasing community involvement.
Last year, the Strategic Planning 50 began framing the planning process in four key areas: Teaching and Learning, Human Resources, Fiscal Responsibility, and Customer Service. Their work will now be handed over to the Action Teams who will spend October through December reviewing and developing the work even further before presenting it back to the Strategic Planning 50.
The celebration Tuesday was a sort of pep rally to get the Action Teams excited for their work ahead and included the Boerne Middle School North and Cheerleaders from both Boerne and Champion High Schools.
