Something wonderful during a very difficult time for one of our students. Four different Fire Departments honored BISD swimmer Dylan Hollimon during his swim meet.
Fire Fighters from the Corpus Christi, Flower Bluff, Annaville and Victoria Departments lined the pool in Corpus Christi during his events to cheer him on.
Dylan's father, Fire Fighter Trevor Hollimon, unexpectedly passed away this weekend and this was a touching sign of support. The San Antonio Fire Department Chief contacted the Corpus Christi Department Chief and before you know it there were 40 Firemen there to cheer Dylan on. Thank you to everyone who helped make Dylan feel like his father was there watching him compete.
