Cibolo Creek L.I.F.E Skills Start Dog Treat Business

 Treats

Cibolo Creek Elementary's L.I.F.E. Skills Teacher, Janet Sheppard, and her students prepared homemade dog treats in the classroom.

The students then sell their homemade treats to staff members at Cibolo Creek.

The students are responsible for measuring the all-natural ingredients, mixing them together, rolling out the dough, using a cookie cutter to cut the bone shape and then baking the treats.

After the baking is complete, students count the treats out into groups of 10 to bag and deliver to teachers.

The students practice communication skills when interacting with their customers and they practice counting money when they collect $2.50 per bag of treats.

All proceeds benefit Community Based Educational trips.
