Patrick Heath Public Library Unveils Newly Remodeled Space for Teens

Ribbon Cutting On Friday, August 30, 2019, The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting at the Patrick Heath Public Library (PHPL) for the reopening of their recently renovated teen space.

The Patrick Heath Public Library is a staple in the Boerne community, striving towards their mission and vision of being a welcoming and empowering place for diverse populations and a positive force in our community. This is exactly the role that this teen space will serve for so many Boerne ISD Students.

The PHPL is in close proximity to several Boerne ISD schools and its a place where many students spend their after-school hours before heading home for the day.

The new teen space is equipped with everything a student may need for work or leisure. Teens may enjoy a variety of relevant books and graphic novels, or a board game played with friends. The teen space also includes individual computer workstations, reading chairs, and small group study rooms.
