November 18, 2020- Champion High School Senior Connor Berberek has been named to the TMEA All-State Orchestra. Berberek is the first-ever Charger Orchestra member to be named All-State.
Berberek first made the Orchestra Region (1st chair), then advanced to Pre-Area and Area, where he competed with Bass players from all over Texas. Out of more than 175 bass players who went through these auditions, Berberek made it to the selected group of 41 bass players who will get to play in one of the All-State Orchestras in February 2021.
