Boerne High Graduate Raises Money for Fellow Alum

BHS donation December 10, 2020- Last spring, 2019 graduate and former Boerne High School standout football player, Monte Cluck was critically injured in an accident in Colorado. He had a serious brain injury, shattered his skull, broke a rib, and was in a coma for six days. He spent three months recovering in a Denver hospital.

When 2018 graduate, Krislyn Beckett, heard about his accident, she wanted to help. She sold bracelets to friends, teammates, teachers, coaches, etc. depicting the words, “MonteStrong.” Monte has since recovered and is back in Boerne and doing well!

Krislyn recently presented a donation to the Boerne High School football team in the amount of $2,000.00 from the sale of her bracelets. Once a Greyhound, always a Greyhound!
