PurpleUP! for Military Kid's Day, April 15

Purple up! It's time to PurpleUP! Boerne ISD!

April is Month of the Military Child (MOMC), named that to remind us to take a moment to recognize all of our Military families and students who demonstrate daily the strength and sacrifice that it takes to support our Armed Forces.

We invite you to join us on April 15th and "PurpleUp!" by wearing the color purple to show your support for Military Kids Day. Joint Base San Antonio explains “Purple symbolizes ‘joint’ in the military world, meaning ‘all services.’ Texas is proud to be home to Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, and Reserve families and is the second-largest state in the US with military dependents ages 0-18.”

The goal of PurpleUP! on April 15th, is for military youth and families to actually see the support in their communities and school. Boerne ISD is so thankful for all of our Military Families please help us recognize military children’s sacrifices as they serve our nation.
