Boerne ISD Names Champion High School Principal

CHS PrincipalJuly 31st, 2021- The Boerne Independent School District is excited to announce that Bill Daniels has been named Principal at Boerne-Champion High School. The appointment was approved at the Boerne ISD Board of Trustees Special Meeting on July 31st. 

“We are excited to welcome Bill to the Boerne ISD family as the new Principal at Champion,” Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Thomas Price said. “Bill brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and innovation with him to Champion. Everywhere he has been Bill has had the respect of his students, parents, and staff,” Price stated.

Mr. Daniels, who has nearly 20 years of experience as an Administrator, comes to Boerne ISD after spending the last nine years as Principal at Humble ISD’s Atascocita High School. Prior to that, he was Principal at Beaumont ISD’s Westbrook High School from 2006-2012. From 2003-2006 Mr. Daniels was an Assistant Principal at Ozen High School (Beaumont ISD). 

Before becoming an administrator, Mr. Daniels served for over 20 years as a teacher, including his last teaching position as a Science Teacher at Vincent Middle School (Beaumont ISD) from 1994-2003. 

“Bill will continue the rich tradition at Champion and will help lead the Chargers to new heights. We are looking forward to having Bill on the Champion campus starting on Monday,” Price concluded.

Mr. Daniels’ wife Glenda is retired after many years of service as a school administrator. 

Boerne ISD opens the 2021-22 school year on Wednesday, August 11th.
