December 13, 2021- Eight Boerne ISD campuses were ranked among the first-ever U.S. News & World Report list of the top elementary and middle schools in Texas. The elementary and middle school rankings place BISD schools among the top 30% in the state.
In the elementary category, Fair Oaks Ranch, Cibolo Creek, Kendall, Fabra, Curington, and Van Raub made the list and place among the top 1,200 primary schools in the state. Fair Oaks Ranch took the top spot among BISD elementary schools as they rank in the top 200 across Texas.
Boerne Middle School North and South ranked as two of the top 420 middle schools in Texas, with South coming in at #242 and North ranking #413.
According to the list, U.S. News & World Report evaluated 4,446 campuses and ranked them based on their test performances, high school preparedness, and graduation rates.
