June 2, 2022- For the second straight year, the Boerne Greyhounds athletic program has won the Dan Cook Cup as the overall top-rated high school sports program in the greater San Antonio area.
In addition, the back-to-back Class 4A State Champion Boerne Greyhounds Boys Soccer team was named the best team in the area, while Champion Charger Diver Emma Haines was named Girls Diver of the Year.
The awards were presented at the Alamo City High School Sports Awards banquet.
The Greyhounds earned their fourth Dan Cook Cup, which is presented by the San Antonio Express-News. Boerne earned a Boys Soccer State Championship, as well as State Final Four berths in Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer, as well as deep playoff runs in other sports.
